Cookies Policy

Last updated: April 23, 2026

This Cookies Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. “Similar technologies” refers to other mechanisms with comparable function — including local storage, session storage, software development kits (SDKs), pixels, tags, and device fingerprints. In this Policy, “cookies” refers to all of these.

Cookies can be first-party (set by fliiick) or third-party (set by services we integrate with). They can be session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them).

2. Categories of cookies we use

CategoryPurposeRequiredExamples
Strictly necessaryKeep you signed in, authenticate sessions, route requests, prevent abuse, and deliver the core Services.Requiredflick_session, flick_csrf, flick_unlocked
PreferencesRemember your display settings (theme, language, region) and referral attribution so your experience persists across visits.Optionalflick_ref, flick_prefs
AnalyticsMeasure product performance, feature usage, and errors so we can improve the Services. Aggregated and pseudonymous where possible.OptionalVercel Analytics, PostHog, Sentry
MarketingMeasure advertising effectiveness and limit the number of times you see an ad. Disabled unless you opt in or where required by law.OptionalAttribution partners (if enabled)

3. Third-party services

We integrate with a limited number of third-party services that may set their own cookies and data collection mechanisms:

  • Vercel — hosting and platform analytics (performance, errors).
  • Cloudflare — security, bot mitigation, and content delivery.
  • Analytics providers — aggregated usage analytics (may include PostHog or similar).
  • KYC & fraud partners — identity verification for paid mode.
  • Execution partners — Polymarket, Kalshi, and other regulated venues that route your paid predictions.

Each provider has its own privacy and cookies policies that govern their data collection. We select providers that meet contractual data-protection standards.

4. How long cookies last

Session cookies last only for a single session and are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. The longest-lived fliiick cookies expire within 12 months of last use.

5. Managing your preferences

You can manage cookies in several ways:

  • In-app settings. Use the cookie preferences control (when available in your region) to enable or disable optional categories.
  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Refer to your browser’s help documentation.
  • Do Not Track. We respect opt-out preference signals as required by applicable law, including California’s Global Privacy Control (GPC).
  • Mobile device controls. iOS and Android offer limit-ad-tracking, reset-advertising-ID, and per-app data controls.

Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break the Services. Disabling other categories will not prevent you from using fliiick but may reduce personalization and our ability to measure product quality.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
